Selecting quick codes for modification
This page allows you to select the quick code to be modified and view its details before modification. You can carry out a search based on the quick code type or status. The details of the quick code such as its description and status are displayed.
Select the “Edit Quick Codes” link under the “Aircraft” business component.
The “Select Quick Code” page appears.
Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” to search for a particular quick code:

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of quick code to be modified. The system provides the options "Aircraft Type", “Aircraft Status", "Model Type”, "Usage Type", “Aircraft Group Category”, “Manufacturer Category”, "Aircraft Details - 1", "Aircraft Details - 2", "Component Details - 1", "Component Details - 2", "Component Details - 3", “Equipment Group”, “Mod Category” , “Mod Classification”, "User Defined Details1", "User Defined Details2", "User Defined Details3", "User Defined Details4", "User Defined Details5" and “Lower Landing Minimum”. The system displays “Aircraft Type” by default. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the quick code to be modified. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave this field blank to retrieve quick codes irrespective of their status. The system displays “Active” by default. |
Click the “Search” button to display the search results.
The system fetches the Quick Codes(s) defined in the login OU for the Quick Code Type and Status selected in the header. When “Blank” is selected in the Status combo, then the system fetches all the Quick Codes defined under the Quick Code Type selected in the header.
The system fills in the following fields in the multiline based on the filter criteria entered:

The quick code belonging to the selected quick code type or status. |
Description |
The textual description of the quick code. |
Status |
The status of the quick code which could be either “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Click the hyperlinked quick code in the multiline, to edit the quick code details.
