This page allows you to modify the details of the selected aircraft group. Tell me more.

The “Edit Aircraft Group” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Aircraft Group #

The aircraft group selected for modification.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the selected aircraft group. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”.

 

Set the status to “Inactive” if you wish to disable the aircraft group from any future reference in other activities.

Aircraft Group Category

Use the drop-down list box to modify the quick code to which the aircraft group is associated. The system lists all the quick codes, which are of type “Aircraft Group Category” and of status “Active”. Leave the field blank if you do not wish to associate the aircraft group to any quick code.

Group Description

The modified description of the aircraft group (Alphanumeric, 150). Mandatory.

The system displays the details of the aircraft belonging to the selected aircraft group, in the “Aircraft Group List” multiline.

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft to be associated to the aircraft group (Alphanumeric, 20). Mandatory. This aircraft registration number must have already been defined in the “Create Aircraft Information” activity.

Ensure that the record status of the aircraft is not “Frozen”.

 

Help facility available.

The system displays the following fields in the multiline for the aircraft that are already associated to the aircraft group. If you have associated a new aircraft to the group, these fields are filled in only on clicking the “Edit Aircraft Group” button:

Manufacturer Serial #

The MSN or the manufacturer’s serial number given to the aircraft by the manufacturer at the time of production.

Variable Tab #

The tab number of the aircraft.

Nose #

The nose number of the aircraft is an aircraft identifier, which is primarily used by the marketing department of an airline.

Aircraft Model #

The model number of the aircraft.

The system displays the following in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By

The name of the user who created the aircraft group.

Last Modified By

The name of the user who last modified the aircraft group.

Created Date

The date on which the aircraft group was created.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the aircraft group.

Note: The system updates the modified details of the aircraft group in the database. It also associates the newly added aircraft to the group. The “Last Modified Date” field is set to the current date and the “Last Modified By” field is set to the user currently logged in.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Editing aircraft group – An overview

Edit Aircraft Group - A summary of the activity

You can also add or delete aircraft from the selected aircraft group. Details of the aircraft group, such as aircraft group description, category, status and the date on which the aircraft group was created and modified, are displayed. You are allowed to modify the status, description and category of the aircraft group.

The system displays the aircraft numbers belonging to the selected aircraft group, in the multiline.
