This page allows you to view the closure status of the tax year. You can select the code identifying the tax book for which you want to view the status of the defined tax years. The system retrieves and displays the details of the tax year including the status of the year and the date range for which the tax year spans.
Select the “View Year Closure Status” link at the bottom of the “Close Tax Book Calendar” page.
The “View Year Closure Status” page appears.
Enter the following fields:

Tax Book |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the tax book for which you want to view the status of the tax years. All the tax books that are available in the login organization unit will be available for selection in the ascending order. |

Tax Year Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the tax year for which you want to view the status. All the tax years that are available in the selected tax book will be available for selection in the chronological order. |
Click the “Get” pushbutton to retrieve the tax year details.
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Tax Year Details” multiline based on the tax book and tax year selected:

Tax Book |
The code identifying the tax book. |

Tax Year Code |
The code identifying the tax year. |

Description |
The textual description of the tax year. |
|
Tax Year Start Date |
The date from which the tax year begins. |

Tax Year End Date |
The date on which the tax year ends. |
|
Year Status |
The status of the tax year. It must be “Open”, “Provisionally Closed” or “Closed”. |

Closed By |
The login ID of the user who closed the Tax book for the Tax year or Tax period |
|
Closed Date |
The date on which the user had closed the Tax book for the Tax year or Tax period. |
