Defining part effectivity details for service pricelist

Part effectivity refers to the parts for which the service price list is applicable. You can search and select the part and associate it to the service price list. The details such as the service price list number, description, revision number, status and the price list category are displayed by the system. You can specify the part code in the multiline and the system displays its description.

Select the “Edit Part Effectivity” link at the bottom of the “Edit Service Price List” page.

The “Edit Part effectivity” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Price List Details” group box:

Service Price List #	The number identifying the service price list.
Revision#	The number identifying the revision of the service price list.
Description	The textual description of the service price list.
Status	The status of the service price list.
Currency	The currency of the service price list.
Price List Category	The price list category of the service price list.

Enter the following in the “Part Details” multiline:

Part #

The number identifying the part for which the service price list is applicable (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. Ensure that the part number is defined in the “Create Parts Main Information“ activity of the “Part Administration” business component and is in “Active” status.

The system displays the following:

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select the part(s) to be associated to the service price list.
Click the “Edit Part Effectivity” pushbutton update part effectivity details.

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “Edit Repair Pricing Details” link to modify the repair pricing details.

Prerequisite

“Create Parts Main Information” activity under “Part Administration” business component. The part must be in “Active” status.
