Selecting service pricelist for modification

This page also allows you to confirm or cancel service price lists in bulk. Tell me more.

Select the “Edit Service Price List” link under the “Service Price List” business component.

The “Select Service Price List” page appears.

Enter the following field in the "Search Criteria" group box, if you know the exact service price list number to be modified:

To search for a service price list

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a service price list. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Service Price List #	The code identifying the service price list (Alphanumeric, 10). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the "*" character. The system retrieves all the service price lists that are similar to the entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the service price lists.
Description	The textual description of the service pricelist (Alphanumeric, 100). The system retrieves all the service pricelists that contain the description entered here.
Pricelist Category	Use the drop down list box to specify the category to which the service pricelist belongs. The system displays all the categories that are in the “Active” Status as defined in the “Category” business component. The system retrieves all the service pricelists that belong to the category selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the service pricelists irrespective of their category.
Status	Use the drop down list box to select the status of the service price list as “Draft” "Fresh" or ”Returned", or “Active”. The system retrieves all the service price lists that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve service price lists of status either “Fresh” or “Returned”.
Currency	Use the drop-down list box to select the currency. The system lists all the currencies permitted for the company as defined in the “Enterprise Setup” business component. By default, the system displays the base currency.
Part Pricelist #	The number identifying the Part Pricelist.
Valid From	The starting date, in the range of dates, from which the service price list is valid.
Valid To	The ending date, in the range of dates, until which the service price list is valid.

Click the "Search" pushbutton to display the search results.

The system displays the following fields in the "Search Results" multiline:

Service Price List#

The number identifying the service price list.

Select the hyperlinked Service Pricelist # to modify the details of the service pricelist.

Service Price List #	The number identifying the service price list.
Revision #	The revision number of the service price list.
Description	The textual description of the service price list.
Status	The status of the service price list.
Priclist Category	The category to which the service price list belongs.
Currency	The currency of the service price list.
Effective Date From	The date starting from which the service price list becomes effective.
Effective Date To	The date till which the service price list remains effective.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select the service price list for confirmation or cancellation.
Check the "Select All" box, if you wish to mark all the service price lists that are listed in the multiline, for confirmation or cancellation.
Enter the following in the “Comments” group box, if you wish to cancel the service price list:

Any additional details pertaining to the cancellation of the service price list (Alphanumeric, 255).

To confirm the service price list

Click the “Confirm Service Price List” pushbutton to confirm the selected service price list.

Note: The system updates the status of the service price list as “Confirmed”.

To cancel the service price list

Click the “Cancel Service Price List” pushbutton to cancel the selected service price list.

Note: The system updates the status of the service price list as “Cancelled”.

To modify other details

Select the hyperlinked service price list number in the multiline, to modify the other details of the service price list.

Selecting service price list for modification – An overview

This page permits you to select a service price list for editing its details.

Note: You can edit the details only when the service price list is not confirmed.

You can directly enter the service price list code if you know the exact code. Or, you can carry out a search by specifying the price list details as filter criteria. The search results are displayed in the multiline. You can select the price list number in the multiline for editing its details.

Confirm or cancel service price lists in bulk

You can confirm or cancel multiple service price lists at the same time.

Enter filter criteria to search for service price list, in the “Search Criteria” group box.
Click the “Search” pushbutton.

The system retrieves the service price lists in the “Search Results” multiline.

Check the "Select All" box below the multiline, to mark all the service price lists in the multiline.
Click the “Cancel Service Price List” pushbutton, to cancel all the service price list(s).

The status of the service price list(s) is set to “Canceled”.

Click the “Confirm Service Price List” pushbutton, to confirm all the service price list(s).

The status of the service price list(s) is set to “Confirmed” or “Active” depending upon the options set in the activity “set options”.
