Hold/Release Voucher – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you search for a voucher and put the voucher on hold temporarily. You can also release the vouchers that are in the “Held” status later. You can put vouchers, which are in the “Requested” status on hold. This activity also allows you to view the account posting information pertaining to the transaction. You can also record any observations regarding the process of putting the voucher on hold or releasing it.

Holding vouchers

The vouchers in “Requested” status can be put on hold. The system updates the status of the voucher to “Held”.

4Go to “Hold Voucher” page.

4Put the voucher on hold.

Releasing vouchers

The vouchers that have already been put on hold can be released. The system reverts the status of the voucher to the earlier status, which is “Requested”.

4Go to “Release Voucher” page.
