Switch Contexts

Role of this Activity in the application creation life cycle

This activity allows the logged on user to switch over from the logged on context to other permitted contexts.

What the activity comprises

This activity comprises Role, OUinstance and Language.

Prerequisites

• The Users, OUinstances and Roles should have been defined.

• Mapping between the User and Role should exist.

• Mapping between the Role and OU should exist.

Working with the screen

• This activity allows a user to change over from one OUinstance to another. It is available under the Security component.

• On launch of the screen, the Role Combo, OUinstance Combo and Language Combo are filled with available data at the back end and combos are defaulted to logged on role, OUinstance and Language, respectively.

• After selecting the desired role, OUinstance and language, the user can click the OK button to change the context values to the selected ones.

This screen has 3 fields namely ‘Role’, ‘OU Instance’, ‘Language’.
