Selecting carrier for modification

This page permits you to select a carrier for modification. You can also delete an existing carrier, in this page. Tell me more

Select the “Edit Carrier” link under the “Carrier” business component.

The “Select Carrier” page appears.

Enter the following detail in the direct entry group box:

Carrier Code

The unique code identifying the carrier (Alphanumeric, 20). Mandatory. Ensure that the carried code does not contain space or special characters.

Click the “Delete” push button to delete the specified carrier.
Click the “Edit Carrier” link alongside to edit the carrier specified.

To search for a carrier code

Enter the following details in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Carrier Code	The unique code identifying the carrier (Alphanumeric, 20). It must not have space or special characters.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the carrier. The options available are “Active”, “Inactive” or “Both”.
Carrier Name	The name of the carrier corresponding to the carrier code (Alphanumeric, 25).
Effective From	The date starting from which, the carrier code becomes effective for recording transactions (Date Format). Mandatory.
Effective To	The end date till which the carrier code is valid for recording transactions (Date Format). Ensure that this date is later than the “Effective From” date.
Address ID	The address of the carrier (Alphanumeric, 6). It must not contain any space or special characters.
City	The name of the city (Alphanumeric, 40).
State	The name of the state (Alphanumeric, 40).
Zip Code	The code identifying the mentioned area (Alphanumeric, 20).
Transportation Mode	The code identifying the shipping mode for transporting goods from the shipping point to a particular Delivery Area (Alphanumeric, 25).
Delivery Area #	The code identifying the area where the goods are delivered (Alphanumeric, 18).

Click the “Search” push button.

The system displays the following carrier details in the multiline.

Carrier Code	The code identifying the carrier.
Carrier Name	The name of the carrier.
City	The name of the city.
State	The name of the state.
Country	The name of the country.
Zip Code	The code identifying the area.
Address ID	The code pertaining to the address of the carrier.
Status	The status of the carrier.

Check the “Select” column in the multiline to mark a carrier for deletion..
Click the “ Delete” button to delete the selected carrier codes.

The status of the carrier is set to “Canceled”.

Click the hyperlinked carrier code in the multiline to edit the carrier code details.

To proceed carryout the following:

Select the “Edit Carrier” link in the “Select Carrier” page to modify the carrier details.

This page permits you to edit the details of the carrier code selected in the previous page. You can modify or delete the carrier. You can also modify the carrier additional address details and the carrier transportation details in this page.
