Modifying the transportation details associated with the carrier

Select the “Edit Carrier Transportation Details” link at the bottom of the “Edit Carrier” page.
The “Edit Carrier Transportation Details” page appears.
The system displays the following details:

Carrier Code |
The code identifying the carrier. |
|
Status |
The status of the carrier. |
|
Carrier Name |
The name of the carrier. |
|
Delivery Area Code |
The code identifying the area, where the goods are delivered. |
|
Delivery Area Description |
The description of the delivery area. |
Modify the following, if necessary:

Shipping Point |
Use the drop-down list box to select the location from where the items will be shipped. The system displays the shipping points created in the “Pack Slip” business component. |

Transportation Mode |
Use the drop-down list box to select the mode of transportation for the goods. The system displays the transportation modes created in the “Category” business component. |

Transportation Time |
The time taken to transport goods from the shipping point to the delivery area (Alphanumeric, 25). The transportation time can be entered in terms of hours, days, weeks, fortnights or months. |

Time Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to select the unit of measure for the transportation time. The system provides the options “Hours”, “Days”, “Weeks”, “Fortnight” and “Months”. |
Click the “Edit Transportation Details” pushbutton to save the changes made.
