Help on Carrier

This page allows you to search and select the carrier code and transfer the details to the required field.

You can search the carrier code by specifying details which includes, carrier code, carrier name, zip code, city, state, address ID and the location at which the carrier is registered. The system retrieves the search results in the multiline. The system retrieves the carrier codes that are in the “Active” status.

Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Carrier Code” field.

The “Help on Carrier” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for the carrier code.

Carrier Code	The code assigned to the carrier (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the carrier codes that are similar to the code entered here.
Carrier Name	The name of the carrier (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the carrier codes that contain the description entered here.
Zip Code	A unique code for the above-mentioned area (Alphanumeric, 20).
City	The name of the city (Alphanumeric, 40).
State	The name of the state (Alphanumeric, 40).
Address ID	The code identifying the address of the carrier (Alphanumeric, 6). You can enter the address in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the carrier codes that contain the address entered here.
Carrier Registered At	The organization unit at which the carrier is registered (Alphanumeric, 16).

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.

The system retrieves and displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Carrier Code	The code assigned to the carrier.
Carrier Name	The name of the carrier.
Address ID	The code identifying the address of the carrier.
Address Line 1	The first line of the address of the carrier.
Address Line 2	The second line of the address of the carrier.
Address Line 3	The third line of the address of the carrier.
City	The name of the city.
State	The name of the state.
Country	The name of the country.
Zip Code	The zip code assigned to the city.
Phone	The phone number of the carrier.
E-Mail	The e-mail ID of the carrier.
URL	The URL address of the carrier.
Carrier Language	The language used for communicating with the carrier.
Carrier Currency	The currency in which the carrier transacts.
Contact Person	The name of the person who can be contacted regarding the carrier.
Carrier Registered At	The organization unit at which the carrier is registered.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a carrier code to transfer the details.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
