This page allows you to set the criterion to generate an early payment report for a customer. Tell me more

Company Code

Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the company in which the customer has been defined. All the companies that are in the “Active” status and have been mapped to the login organization unit will be available for selection.

Business Unit

Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the business unit in which customer has been defined. All the business units that are in the “Active” status and have been mapped to the selected company will be available for selection.

Created At

Use the drop-down list box to select the organization unit in which the customer documents have been created. All the organization units in which the “Receivables Management” business components have been deployed will be available for selection.

Customer Code From

The starting code in the range of codes identifying the customers for whom you want to view the report (Alphanumeric, 18). Mandatory.

Customer Code To

The ending code in the range of codes identifying the customers for whom you want to view the report (Alphanumeric, 18). Mandatory.

Order Based Invoice

Check the box if you want to view the payment report for the order-based invoices.

Direct Invoice

Check the box if you want to view the payment report for the direct invoices.

Debit Credit Note

Check the box if you want to view the payment report for the debit credit notes.

Prepayment Invoice

Check the box if you want to view the payment report for the prepayment invoices.

All

Check the box if you want to view the payment report for the documents raised on the customer.

Entry Point Page

Check the box if you want to print the entry point page once.

Date Option

Use the drop-down list box to select the time duration for which you want to view the early report. You can select from “Financial Year”, or “Dates”. The system displays “Dates” by default on launch of the page.

Financial Year

Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the financial year for which you want to view the early payment report. All the financial years defined for the finance books mapped to the selected business unit will be available for selection in the chronological order.

Note: A financial year must not be selected if “Dates” is selected in the “Date Option” field.

Financial Period

Use the drop-down list box to select the financial period for which you want to view the early payment report. All the financial periods that have been defined for the selected year will be available for selection in the chronological order. The system displays the start date and the end date of the financial period along with the code identifying the financial period.

Note: A financial period must not be selected if “Dates” is selected in the “Date Option” field.

Date From

The starting date in the date range for which you want to view the early payment report (Date Format). The date entered in this field must be before the date entered in the “To” field.

Note: This field must be left blank if “Financial Year” is selected in the “Date Option” field.

To

The ending date in the date range for which you want to view the early payment report (Date Format). The system date is displayed by default on launch of the page.

Note: This field must be left blank if “Financial Year” is selected in the “Date Option” field.

Currency

Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the currency in which you want to view the early payment report. All the currency codes that have been assigned to the login company will be available for selection. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page.

Customer Early Payment Report – An overview

Discounts are usually provided to customers who make payments for the purchase within the stipulated date to the company. The quantum of the discount could vary from one customer to another based on the dates on which the payments are made. A standard agreement can also be reached between the customer and the company for the applicable discount. The customer early payment report gives you the details of the discount that are availed by the customers and the types of documents for which the discounts are applicable. This report can be generated for a period of time, which could be a financial year or a date range.

You can search by specifying a range of customers for whom the report must be generated and the organization unit in which the transactions have taken place for these customers. You can select the type of transaction for which you want to view the early payment details and the currency in which you want to view the report. The system generates the report based on the selected criterion. You can view the details regarding the various types of transaction and the corresponding documents. You can also view the details of the amount that was due, the amount received from the customer and the discount that has been availed for the early payment. You can also view the dates on which the amount was due, the date on which the discount could be availed and the date on which the payment was received.
