Select the “Print Note” link under the “Reports – Receivable Management” business component.
The “Print Note” page appears.
Company Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the company in which the notes have been raised. All the companies that are in the “Active” status and have been mapped to the login organization unit will be available for selection. |
BU |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the business unit in which the notes have been raised. All the business units that are in the “Active” status and have been mapped to the selected company will be available for selection. |
OU |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the organization from which the notes have been raised. All the organization units that form part of the selected business unit and in which the “Customer Debit / Credit Note” and the “Customer Balance Transfer” components have been deployed will be available for selection. |
Print Note Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of note that you want to print. You can select from “Account Based Note”, “Item Based Note” or “Transfer Note”. The system displays “Account Based Note” by default on launch of the page. |
Finance Book |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the finance book in which the notes that you want to print have been posted. All the “Posting” finance books that have been mapped to the selected organization unit will be available for selection. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. |
Note No From |
The starting number in the range of note numbers that you want to print (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the notes that are similar to the value entered in this field. The note number entered in this field must be before the number entered in the “To” field. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the notes that you want to print. You can select from "Fresh", "Authorized", "Partially Paid", "Held", "Fully Paid", "Reversed" or "All". The system displays “Fresh” by default on launch of the page. |
Note: Only “Fresh”, “Draft” and “Authorized” will be available for selection if “Transfer Note” is selected in the “Print Note Type” field.
Note Date From |
The starting date in the date range during which the notes that you want to print have been created (Date Format). |
Note: Values must be entered in this field only if “Account Based Note” or “Item Based Note” is selected in the “Print Note Type” field.
To |
The ending date in the date range during which the notes that you want to print have been created (Date Format). The system date is displayed by default on launch of the page. |

Currency |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the currency in which the notes that you want to print have been raised. All the currencies that have been mapped to customer account codes in the “Account Rule Definition” business component will be available for selection. Note Amount From |
The starting amount in the range of note amounts for which the notes that you want to print have been raised (Decimal). The amount entered in this field must be greater than zero. The amount entered in this field must be lesser than or equal to the amount entered in the “To” field. |

Customer Name |
The name identifying the customer (Alphanumeric, 25). |
Customer Code From |
The starting code in the range of customer codes for which you want to print notes (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the notes that have been raised on the customer code entered in this field. |
Note: The code entered in this field must be before or the same as the code entered in the “To” field.
To |
The ending code in the range of customer codes for which you want to print notes (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the notes that have been raised on the customer code entered in this field. |
Entry Point Page |
Select the check box to print the entry point page once. |
Click the “Print Note” pushbutton to print the notes.
The system displays the notes based on the search criteria entered. The notes can be printed.
These notes can be printed for the customer from the business component in which it has been raised. The first copy of the note will be the original copy. This copy could be printed directly from the corresponding business component or from this page. The multiple copies that are generated later would be marked as duplicate.
You can carry out a search by specifying the range of customers on whom the notes have been raised. You can search by selecting the type of note, the range of numbers identifying the notes and the date range during which the notes that you want to print has been raised. You can also search by specifying the status of the note and the login ID of the user who raised it. The system retrieves and prints copies of the notes that have been retrieved based on the search criteria set.
