This Help page allows you to search and select a cost element structure and transfer the details to the field where it is required.
You can carry out a search by specifying the range of cost element structures that you want to retrieve. You can also search by specifying the login ID of the user who created the cost element structure and the description of the cost element structure. The system retrieves the cost element structures that are in the “Active” status. The selected cost element structure is transferred to the required page, when it is confirmed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “CE Structure ID” in the Generate Forecasting page of the “Revenue Forecasting” business component.
The “Help on CE Structure ID” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a cost element structure:

Status |
Use the drop-down to specify the status of the cost element structure that you want to retrieve. It can be “Active” or “Inactive”. The system displays “All” by default. |

Structure ID From |
The starting code in the range of cost element structure codes that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 10). |
Note: The code entered in this field must be before the code entered in the “To” field.

To |
The ending code in the range of cost element structure codes that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 10). |

CE Structure Description |
The description of the cost element structure (Alphanumeric, 40). |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

The code identifying the cost element structure. |

Description |
The description of the cost element structure. |
|
Status |
The status of the cost element structure |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a cost element structure.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
