The Asset Register Report is a report with gives you details of the assets in the company. In this page you can view different reports pertaining to the asset register. Tell me more
Select the “Asset Register” link under “Reports – Fixed Assets Management”.
The “Asset Register” page appears.
Enter the following fields:
Company / Segment / Business Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to select the Company / Segment / Business Unit for which you want to view the asset register report. You can select from “Company”, “Business Unit” or “Segment”. The system displays “Company” by default on the launch of the page. |
Company / Segment / Business Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to select the Company / Segment / Business Unit value for which you want to view the asset register report. All the values that have been defined in the organization setup will be available for selection. Based on the selection in the Company / Business Unit / Segment, the corresponding values get loaded. |
Asset Class From |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the asset class for which you want to view the asset register report. All the values that have been deployed in the “Asset Type Definition” will be available for selection. The values must be defined for the “Company”, “Business Unit” or “Segment”. Based on the selection in the “Company”, “Business Unit” or “Segment”, the corresponding values get loaded. |

Asset Group From |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the asset group for which you want to view the asset register report. All the values that have been deployed in the “Asset Type Definition” will be available for selection. The system by default displays the first value loaded. |

Note: You either select the Asset Class or the Asset Group. If any one of it is selected the other one must be blank.
Depreciation Book Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the depreciation book. All the depreciation books that have been deployed in the “Depreciation Setup Component” will be available for selection. The system by default displays the first value that is loaded. |
Note: The depreciation books available for selection will also include “Corporate Books and Tax Books”.
Finance Book |
Use the drop-down list box to select the finance book for which you want to view the asset register report. All the finance books that have been deployed in the login organization unit of the company for the selected “Company” “Business Unit”, or “Segment” will be available for selection in the ascending order. |
Currency |
The system defaults the base currency of the company. |
Cost Center From |
A unique code identifying the cost center for which you want to view the asset register report (Alphanumeric, 10). It must be mapped to the “CSET Component”. The cost center identifies the assets of the company. |

Click the “Asset Details” pushbutton to view the asset details report.
The system allows you to view the asset details report, which gives you all the assets and the location of the assets of the company. You can view the details for the values entered. The report displays the assets based on the asset number and the description of the asset. You can view the tag number and the tag description of the assets. The report also gives you the type of the depreciation category, the in service date and the total percentage of the business use of the assets. You can also view the total tag cost of the asset, the inventory cycle, the salvage value of the asset and the status of the tag.

You can specify a range of numbers identifying the cost center, asset number and the tag number. You can specify a range of dates indicating specific dates in which you want to view the report.
