Help on Quick Codes
This page allows you to search for a quick code based on the entity information defined for it.
You can carry out the search using the quick code and value “From” and “To” ranges.
The system retrieves all the quick codes, which are in the “Active” status, based on the search criteria entered. On confirmation, the selected quick code is transferred to the required page.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Expense Classification” field in “Create Expense Invoice” page of Supplier Direct Invoice” business component.
The “Help on Quick Codes” page appears.
The system displays the following field in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a quick code::

Entity |
The entity for which the quick codes must be retrieved. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a quick code:

Quick Code From |
The starting code in the range of quick codes, from which the quick codes are to be retrieved in the multiline. Ensure that the value entered in this field is lesser than the value entered in quick code “To” field. |

To |
The ending code in the range of codes up to which codes are to be retrieved in the multiline. The system retrieves all the documents distributed between the ranges of dates specified here. |

Value From |
The starting value in the range of values, from which the codes are to be retrieved in the multiline Ensure that the value entered in this field is lesser than the value entered in the value “To” field. |

Pay To Supplier # From |
The starting number in the range of numbers identifying the supplier to whom the payment must be made (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the purchase orders associated to the supplier whose code is similar to the value entered in this field. |

To |
The ending value in the range of values up to which codes are to be retrieved in the multiline. The system retrieves all the documents distributed between the ranges of dates specified here. |
Note: Leave all the fields blank, to retrieve all the quick codes available in the database.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
Note: The system displays only those quick codes that are in “Active” status.
The system displays the following in the “Quick Code Details” multiline, based on the search criteria entered.

Quick Code |
A unique identifier for the quick code. This can be a combination of characters and digits. |

Value |
A textual description of the quick code. |
Ø Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a quick code.
Ø Click the “OK” pushbutton.
