This section describes the Customer Order Management business component.

Customer Order Management WorkSpace - A summary of the activity

This user interface organizes and presents useful customer order related data in a dashboard. A customer service manager (CSM) can view all the customer order related information based on which he can take corrective action from one single user interface.

Also he can view data in a graph format.

How to login

1. Login to the application.

2. Enter the Username and Password and click Submit.

Traversing Customer Order WorkSpace

The system displays Customer Order in the right pane.

1.     Click the WorkSpace category Customer Order Management.

2.     Click the Customer Order in the right to open the Customer Order WorkSpace as in Figure 3.

Note: Click on the sections to view the respective subsections.

1.     The top pane of the Customer Order Management orkspace screen has six Sections categorizing customer orders in logical order based on their stages of processing.

2.     The CSM can select the sections based on the category of the customer order he wishes to view.

SECTIONS

WHAT THE CSM CAN DO

All Order

To view all the customer orders within the purview of the login user.

Planning & Inquires

To view customer orders that are in planning stage awaiting firming up.

Order-in-Progress

To view customer orders against which work is in progress and needs follow up action.

Completed Jobs

To view closed jobs that needs to be shipped and billed against which payments are due

Orders Billed

To view customer orders for which final bill has been sent.

1.     The left pane below the Sections in the Customer Order Management WorkSpace displays the Subsections corresponding to the Section selected.

2.     The CSM can select the total number of customer orders displayed in each color boxes against each of the actions listed in the subsection to view the basic information of the customer orders in the adjacent multiline.
