Viewing sales & shipping parameters

This page allows you to view the OU level parameters that have been set for the “Sales & Shipping” business process chain. You can view the process parameters as well as the functional default values for the Sales & Shipping BPC.

Select the “Set Parameters – Sales & Shipping” link from the “Org. Unit Parameter Setup” business component.

The “Set Parameters – Sales & Shipping” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “Process Parameters” group box:

Allocate and Issue on Create Packslip	A specification of whether items can be allocated for shipment immediately after the creation of the packslip.
Allocate and Issue on Create Pickorder	A specification of whether items can be allocated for shipment immediately after the creation of the pickorder.
UOM for Packslip/Pickorder	The UOM to be used for the pickorder or the packslip creation, which could be “Stock UOM” or “Sale UOM”.
Single row display Ship Together Items for Models	A specification of whether ship together items of models are displayed as a single entity at the transaction level.
Part Shipment of Kits	A specification of whether the parts of a kit can be shipped separately.
Manual Allocation Allowed	A specification of whether the items allocated for shipping can be done manually.
Pick/Pack Unreserved Sale Order	A specification of whether pickorder and packslips can be created based on unreserved sale orders.

The system displays the following in the “Function Defaults” group box:

Shipment From

A specification of whether goods can be shipped based on a packslip or a shipping document, which could be “Packslip”, “Shipping Document” or “Both”.
