This page allows you to search and select the distribution number and transfer the same to the main page.
You can carry out the search using distribution number and its description. The system retrieves all the distribution numbers, which are “Fresh” status in the multiline. The system then transfers the number selected to the main page.
Click the lens icon positioned along the “Distribution No.” field.
The “Help on Distribution Setup” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

The finance book of the login organization unit. |
Enter the following fields to search for the distribution number:

Distribution No. From |
The starting number in the range of distribution numbers for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 18). The system lists all the distribution numbers that are greater than or similar to the value entered here. |

If this field is left blank and the “To” field is entered, then the system retrieves all the distribution numbers that are lesser than the number specified in the “To” field. |

To |
The ending number in the range of distribution numbers for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 18). The system lists all the distribution numbers that are lesser than the value entered here. The number entered here must be greater than the number entered in the “Distribution No. From” field. |

If this field is left blank and the “Distribution No. From” entered, then the system retrieves all the distribution number that are greater than the number specified in the “Distribution No. From” field till the last distribution number. |

Description |
The textual description of the distribution number (Alphanumeric, 255). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the distribution number whose description is similar to the text entered here. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the distribution number.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
