Using online help

Employee Tax Data Unit

From the drop-down list box, select the tax data unit for which withholding allowances are to be declared. Mandatory.

Date Format

The date applicable to the login user.

Employee Code

The relevant code of the employee.

Employee Name

The name of the employee.

SSN

The social security number of the employee.

Note: This refers to the number issued by the Social Security Administration to a U.S. citizen or to a person sanctioned by the Immigration and Naturalization Service to work in the United States.

Tax Year

From the drop-down list box, select the tax year for which withholding allowances are to be declared. The drop-down list box displays all the tax years defined in the “Create Tax Year” activity. By default the system displays the latest tax year.

Note: When you select previous year then the last submitted record available for that respective year is displayed.

Employee Code

The relevant code of the employee.

Employee Name

The name of the employee.

SSN

The social security number of the employee.

Tax Year

The tax year for which the withholding references are to be declared.

W4 Status

The status of the W4 record is displayed in this field.

  • Filled: The status is “Filled”, if the employee has declared his W4 record. The employee is allowed to make any further changes, if needed.

  • Not Filled: The status is “Not Filled”, if the employee has not declared his W4 record. The employee is allowed to fill his record for the first time.

State/Local Withholding Declaration Status

The status of the state and local withholding allowance is displayed in this field:

  • Filled: The status is “Filled”, if the employee has declared his state/local withholding allowance. The employee is allowed to make any further changes, if needed.

  • Not Filled: The status is “Not Filled”, if the employee has not declared his state/local withholding allowance. The employee is allowed to fill his record for the first time.
