Select the “Edit Previous Competency Gaps” link in the “Select Previous Competency” page.
The “Edit Competency Gaps” page appears.
The following fields appear, which cannot be edited.
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
Training Plan Unit |
The training plan org unit selected in the previous page. |
Employment Unit |
The employment unit selected in the previous page. |
The following is displayed in the “Gap criteria” group box.
Gap Criteria Code |
A unique code that defines the gap criteria applicable for the competency. |
You can edit the following in the Gap Criteria Group Box.
Gap Criteria Description |
A brief and unique description of the gap criteria. |
Gap as on Date |
The date on which, the gap criteria is valid. |
Employee Code |
A unique code to define the employee. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. |
Assignment No |
The number assigned to the employee assignment. |
Department |
The name of the department. If there is more than one value, by default, the system will display “select” in the drop-down list box. You can select the required department from the drop -down list box. |
Job Title |
The title of the job held by the employee. If there is more than one value, by default, the system will display “select” in the drop -down list box. You can select the required job title from the drop- down list box. |
Position Title |
The title of the position held by the employee. If there is more than one value, by default, the system will display “select” in the drop- down list box. You can select the required position title from the drop- down list box. |
Competency |
The description of the competency. Competency can be, for example, SQL skills. |
Select the "Get Competency Gaps” pushbutton to view the details pertaining to the competency gaps.
The system displays the following in the “Summary of Competency Gap” multiline.
Competency |
The description of the competency gap possessed by the employee. |
No. Of employees |
The total number of employees who do not possess the competency specified in the gap criteria group box. |
The system displays the following in the “Details of Competency Gaps” multiline.
Employee Code |
The code of the employee. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. |
Assignment No |
The number of employee assignment. |
Department |
The name of the department |
Job Title |
The title pertaining to the job held by the employee |
Position Title |
The title of the position held by the employee. |
Competency Description |
The description pertaining to the competency |
Desired Level |
The desired level of the competency. It has numeric values. |
Possessed Level |
The competency level possessed by an employee. |

Comments |
Any comment pertaining to the competency gaps of the employee. |
Select the zoom icon “book” that is provided along with the comment field.
Enter the comments in detail.
Select “save” pushbutton to save the details entered.
Select “cancel” pushbutton, if you do not want to save the details entered.
Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the details entered.
Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the details.
Select the “Delete” pushbutton to delete the record
