Select the “Identify Qualification Gaps” option from the left pane.
The “Identify Qualification Gaps” page appears.
The system displays the following.
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
Enter the following.
Training Plan Org Unit |
The name of the organization unit in which the training plan and budget components are deployed. If there is more than one value, the system will display “Select” as the default value in the drop-down list box. You can select the required training calendar unit from the drop-down list box. |
Employment Unit |
Select the organization unit that interacts with the Training plan and budget component to access the qualification information. This organization unit must hold the Employment Information component. |
Enter the following in the Gap Criteria Group Box.
Gap Criteria Code |
A unique code that defines the gap criteria applicable for the qualification. |
Gap Criteria Description |
A brief and unique description of the gap criteria code . |
Gap as on Date |
The date on which, the gap criteria is valid. |
Employee Code |
A unique code that defines the employee. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. |
Assignment No |
The assignment number of the employee. |
Department |
The name of the department. If there is more than one value, by default, the system displays “Select” in the drop- down list box. You can select the required department from the drop -down list box. |
Job Title |
The title of the job held by the employee. If there is more than one value, by default, the system displays “Select” in the drop- down list box. You can select the required job title from the drop- down list box. |
Position Title |
The position of the job held by the employee. If there is more than one value, the system will display “select” in the drop-down list box. You have to select the required position title from the drop-down list box. |
Qualification |
The description of the qualification. The qualification can be any certificate course or diploma course related to the job that the employee is performing. |
Select the “Display Qualification Gaps” pushbutton.
On selecting the “Display Qualification Gaps” pushbutton, the system displays the following in the “Summary of Qualification Gap” multiline.
Qualification Details |
The description of the qualification. |
No. Of employees |
The total number of employees who do not possess the qualification selected in the gap criteria group box. |
The system displays the following in the “Details of Qualification Gaps” multiline
Employee Code |
The code of the employee who does not possess the qualification mentioned in the search criteria. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee who does not possess that qualification mentioned in the search criteria. |
Assignment No |
The assignment number of the employee. |
Position Title |
The title of the position held by the employee |
Department |
The name of the department selected in the gap criteria group box |
Job Title |
The title of the job held by the employee. |
Qualification Details |
The details of the qualification. |
From |
The start date from which the qualification is valid. Example, 15th March 2002 |
To |
The end date until which qualification is valid. Example, 15th December 2002. |
The following detail is displayed below the multiline.
Comments |
Any comment pertaining to the competency gaps of the employee. |
Select the zoom icon “book” that is provided along with the comment field.
Enter the comments in detail.
Select “save” pushbutton to save the details entered.
Select “cancel” pushbutton, if you do not want to save the details entered.
Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the details entered.
Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the details.
