Select the help icon in the “Employee Code” column of the multiline.
The system displays the “Help on Employee” page.
Use the “Search Criteria” group box to filter the employee records to those that closely match the specific search parameters you enter. Otherwise the system will display all the employee records in the multiline.
Specify search criteria for any or all of the following details. The system will fetch the Employee Code records that match the combination of search criteria you specify.
A blank multiline appears, containing the following fields: “Employee Code”, “Employee Name”, “Assignment No”, “Position Title”, “Department Description” “Job Title”, "Employment Unit" and "Status".
Employee Code |
The unique code of the employee. Enter a specific search parameter for the code. If you enter the search parameter as “ Q*0* ”, the system will fetch all the records whose prefix begins with “Q” and whose numeric value of the code begins with “0”, for example, QFN0001, and QFN0002 Specify the required combination of the wild cards for the search such as, *FN and Q*N*001. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. If you specify the search criteria as "JO*", with wild cards, the system will fetch all the employee names that begin with "JO". |
Assignment No |
The assignment number of the employee. To view all the employee records based on the assignment numbers containing specific characters, type in a starting range of these characters along with the wild card character *. |
Position Title |
The title of the position held by the employee. To view all the employee records based on the position title containing specific characters, type in a starting range of these characters along with the wild card character *. |
Department Description |
The description of the department to which the employee belongs. To view all the employee records based on the department descriptions containing specific characters, type in a starting range of these characters along with the wild card character *. |
Job Title |
The title of the job held by the employee. To view all the employee records based on the job title containing specific characters, type in a starting range of these characters along with the wild card character *. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton to view the list of employee records satisfying the combination of search criteria specified.
The following qualification details are displayed in the corresponding columns of the multiline.
Employee Code |
The unique code that identifies the employee. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. |
Assignment No |
The assignment number of the employee. |
Position Title |
The title of the position held by the employee. |
Department Description |
The description of the department to which the employee belongs. |
Job Title |
The title of the job held by the employee. |
Employment Unit |
The employment unit to which the employee belongs. |
Status |
The status of the employee. |
Click the “Select” checkbox corresponding to the required Employee details record.
Select the “OK” pushbutton, below the multiline.
The system displays the Employee code in the corresponding column of the multiline of the previous page.
