Use this page to create an employee's leave details and subsequently edit the leave details. Use this page to define leave rules through stored procedures, as well .
Select "Maintain Employee Leave" from the left pane
The "Maintain Employee Leave" page appears.
The system displays the following field
Date Format |
The date format applicable for the login user. |
Select the following
Scheduling Unit Details |
Select the organization unit in which you must maintain the leave details. Tell me more |
Employment Unit |
Select the organization unit that interacts with the Time Management Scheduling Unit, to access the leave information. This organization unit must hold the Employment Information component. |
Select the "Define Rule" link
The "Maintain Business Rule" page appears
Create the stored procedure rules in this page, and re-enter the "Maintain Employee Leave" page
Select the "Maintain Employee Leave" pushbutton, to save the leave rules.
To apply a different leave rule
Select the "Help" icon beside the "Leave Rule" field.
The "Help on Stored Procedures" page appears
Use the "Search Criteria" facility to select a different rule.
Return to the "Maintain Employee Leave" page
The selected rule will appear in the "Leave Rule" field.
Select the "Maintain Employee Leave" pushbutton, to save the information
To enter multiple employees' leave
Enter the following in the multiline
Employee Code |
The code of each employee whose leave details are to be entered. |
Leave Type |
From the "Leave Type" drop-down list box, select the type of leave that the employee will avail. The leave types can be "Casual Leave", "Privilege Leave" and "Maternity Leave" |
From Date |
The date from which the leave starts. By default, the system date will be displayed. |
From Time |
The time at which the leave is availed. This will be applicable only for casual leave, when the leave is in terms of hours |
To Date |
The date on which the leave ends. |
To Time |
The time until which the leave is availed. This will be applicable only for casual leave, when the leave is in terms of hours |
Select the "Maintain Employee Leave" pushbutton, to save the information
Enter the scheduling unit and employment unit.
To retrieve the leave details for a specific employee, enter the employee code in the "Employee Code" field in the header. Enter the date from which the leave details must be retrieved, in the From Date" field. Optionally, you can enter the "To Date" field as well.
To retrieve the leave details for a specific leave type, select the leave type from the "Leave Type" drop-down list box in the header.
Enter the date from which the leave details must be retrieved, in the From Date" field. Optionally, you can enter the "To Date" field as well.
Select the "Get Details" pushbutton
The "Employee Leave Details" multiline displays the leave availed from the date you specified in the "From Date" field.
Edit the required information.
Select the "Maintain Employee Leave" pushbutton, to save the information

The login employee code of the employee who created the record |
Created Date |
The date of creation |
Last Modified By |
The login employee code of the person who most recently edited and saved information in the "Maintain Employee Leave" page. |
Last Modified Date |
The date of modification. |
