Select the “Edit External Trainer” option from the left pane.
The “Select Trainer for Editing” page appears.
The system displays the following.

To edit the details of an external trainer, enter the following.
Training General Information Unit |
Select the organization unit in which the training general information unit is deployed. The drop-down list box displays all the organization units where you have permission to create the training general information unit. These organization units are called setup OUs. A setup organization unit is an organization unit in which you normally define master information. There are other organization units that can access information from this setup organization unit. |
Select the trainer, either through the “Direct Entry” group box or through the “Search Criteria” group box.
Use this method if you know the complete code of the trainer
Enter the code of the external trainer you want to modify or delete, in the “Employee Code” field.
Select the “Edit External Trainer” link to edit the external trainer details.
The “Edit External Trainer” page appears.
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the trainer code or the name of the trainer.
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
Trainer Code |
To view the trainer codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the trainer codes. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, FCL1*, will search for those trainer codes that start with FCL1. Other examples are *FCL1, F*1 and FCL* |
Trainer Name |
To view the trainer names containing specific characters, type in the starting character (s) of the trainer codes. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, FCL1*, will search for those trainer codes that start with FCL1. Other examples are *FCL1, F*1 and FCL* |
Select the “ Search” pushbutton.
Note:
If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the
records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch
the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select
the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are
applicable to the selected training general information unit.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the trainer records that satisfy the search criteria specified.
Trainer Code |
The unique code that identifies the trainer. |
Trainer Name |
The name of the trainer. |
Organization |
The name of the organization. |
Select the hyperlink in the "Trainer Code" column for the record you want to edit.
The “Edit External Trainer” page appears.
