Select the “Edit Internal Faculty Based on Competencies” link in the “Select Internal Faculty for Editing” page.
The “Edit Internal Faculty Based on Competencies” page appears.
The following fields appear, which cannot be edited.
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
4 Enter the following.
Training General Information Unit |
Select the organization unit in which you must create training general information unit. The drop-down list box displays all the organization units where you have permission to create training general information units. These organization units are called setup OUs. A setup organization unit is an organization unit in which you normally define master information. There are other organization units that can access information from this setup organization unit. |
Employment Unit |
The name of the employment unit that interacts with the general information unit to identify the internal faculty. If there is more than one value, the systems displays “Select” as the default value in the drop-down list box. |
Language |
The system displays the language in which the login user logged in. In other words, this refers to the language you selected in the login screen, to access this activity. From the drop-down list box, select the language in which you require to edit the internal faculty record |
4 Enter the course code in the “Identify Faculty for Course” group box.
Course Code |
The unique code that identifies the course. Help available |
Select the “Get Employees” pushbutton.
4 On selecting the “Get Employees” pushbutton, the system displays the following details in the “Employee details” multiline.
Employee Code |
The code that identifies the employee, mapped to the selected course. You can use the help icon to select the employee code. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. |
Employment Unit |
The employment unit to which the employee belongs . |
Competency Match Point |
The total number of competencies that are common between the competencies possessed by the employees and the competencies marked in the “Competencies required for faculty page” are displayed. |
Identify Faculty (Yes/No) |
By default, the system will display the value selected earlier. From the drop-down list box select “Yes” to indicate that the selected employee is a faculty. Select “No to indicate otherwise. |
4 Specify the following details below the multiline.
Comments |
Any comments pertaining to the internal faculty. |
4 Select the zoom icon beside the “Comments” field. The system displays a dialog box containing the comments that were entered previously, if any.
4 You can view, modify or delete the content.
4 Select the “OK” pushbutton to save the details and return to the previous page.
4 Select the “Cancel” pushbutton to return to the previous page without saving the details entered.
4 Select the “Delete” pushbutton to delete the entire employee detail record.
4 Select the “Save” pushbutton.
