4 Select the View Venue option from the left pane

Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
Training General Information Unit |
Select the organization unit in which the training general information unit is deployed. The drop-down list box displays all the organization units where you have permission to create training general information groups. These organization units are called setup OUs. A setup organization unit is an organization unit in which you normally define master information. There are other organization units that can access information from this setup organization unit. |
4 Select the venue, either through the Direct Entry group box or through the Search Criteria group box.
To select through Direct Entry
Use this method if you know the complete code of the venue
4 Enter the code of the
venue that must you
want to view in the "Venue Code field.

Select the View Venue hyperlink.
4 The View External Venue page appears. All details of the selected record are displayed.

To select through Search Criteria
Use this method, if you know just a few characters
of the venue code or the name of the venue. Enter these characters in
the Search Criteria group box. The system will fetch those records that
contain these characters in their codes or/ descriptions. Search based on wild card
characters is also supported. To narrow your search to the closest matching
records, you can also enter search criteria for the venue name.
Enter the following
search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
Venue Code |
To view the venue codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the venue codes. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, EXVEN1*, will search for those venue codes that start with EXVEN1. Other examples are *EXVEN-1, and EV*1. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, EXVEN1*, will search for those venue codes that start with EXVEN1. Other examples are *EXVEN-1, and EV*1. |
Venue Name |
The name of the venue. To view the venue names containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the venue names. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, EXVEN1*, will search for those venue names that start with EXVEN1. Other examples are *EXVEN-1, and EV*1. |
Venue Type |
From the drop down list box, select the type of the venue of which you want to see the details. |
Organization |
The organization in which the venue is located. To view the organization names containing specific characters, type in the starting character (s) of the organizations. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, ORG*, will search for those organization names that start with ORG. Other examples are *ORG1, and OR*1. |
4 Select the Search pushbutton.
4 The system displays the following details of venues that satisfy the search criteria specified.

The name of the venue. |
Venue Type |
The type of the venue. |
Organization |
The name of the organization in which the venue is located. |
4 Select the hyperlink in the "Venue Code" column for the venue you want to view.
4 The View Venue page appears.
Use this page to select the venue of which you want to view the details.
