How to use the web page

Using Online Help

The “Time Booking and Exception Report” page appears.

Employee

From the drop-down list box, select the employee code.

Note that you can select the exception “All” to retrieve the time booking and exception report of all the employees.

From Date

The date from which you require to view the time booking and exception report of the employees’.

To Date

The date until which you require to view the time booking and exception report of the employees’.

The system generates the report with the following details.

Employee Code

The unique code of the employee.

Employee Name

The name of the employee.

Date

The date for which you can view the time booking entries.

Total Hours

The total number of hours booked by the employee on the date specified.

Authorized Hours

The number of hours for which the time booking has been authorized on the date specified.

Pending Hours

The number of hours for which the time booking is pending for authorization on the date specified.

Working Day?

The system displays any one of the following options

  •  “Yes” indicates that the date specified is a working day.

  •  “No” indicates that the date specified is a not a working day.

Exception Status

The system displays any one of the following exception statuses

  • “Normal “ indicates that the exception is nil and the number of hours booked is the standard number of hours, say, 8.25 hrs on the specified date.

  • “Exception +” indicates that the exception was raised as the employee clocked more number of hours than the standard hours on the date specified.

  • “Exception –“indicates that the exception was raised as the employee clocked less number of hours than the standard hours on the date specified.

Directory

The absolute path of the directory where you intend to save the file.

File Name

The name of the file.
