Select the “Time Sheet Entry" link from the “Time Entry” business component
The “Time Sheet Entry" page appears.
The system displays the following field.
Date Format |
The format in which the date is displayed. Tell me more. |
Enter the following search criteria details
Employment Unit |
From the drop-down list box select the employment unit of the employee. Tell me more. |
Employee Code |
The code of employee for which the attendance details must be entered or amended. Help available |
Status |
From the drop-down list box, select the status of the record. The system lists the options “Pending For Authorization”, “Authorized”, “Draft”, “Rejected”, "System Disapproved" and “Revoked”. |
Year |
The year for which the attendance details must be entered or amended. |
Month |
From the drop-down list box, select the month of the year for which the attendance details must be entered or amended. |
From Date |
The start date in the range of dates, starting from which the attendance details must be entered or amended |
To Date |
The end date in the range of dates, until which the attendance details are to be entered or amended. |
To default time sheet details
Select the “Default Time Sheet Details" pushbutton to default the time sheet details for a specific range of dates
The system retrieves and defaults the "From Date", "From Time", "To Date", "To Time" and Entry type as "System" from the "Employee Schedule" activity.
To record time sheet details
Select the “Get” pushbutton, to retrieve the details in the multiline
Enter or modify the following details, if required.
Employee Code |
The code identifying the employee. Help available. |
The system displays the following field.
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. |
Modify the following details, if required.
Date |
The date for which the record is to be authorized. |
The system displays the following field.
Day Type |
The day type of the date may be "Working Day" or "Non-Working Day". |
Day |
The day for which the record is to be amended. |
Modify the following, if required.
From Date |
The date from which the attendance details exist for the employee. |
From Time |
The time from which the employee started working. |
To Date |
The date until which the attendance details exist for the employee. |
To Time |
The time till which the employee had worked for the day. |
OT From Date |
The starting date in the range of dates, for which the employee had worked overtime. |
OT From Time |
The time starting from which the employee had worked extra hours. |
OT To Date |
The ending date in the range of dates, till which the employee had worked extra hours. |
OT To Time |
The time till which the employee has worked extra hours. |
Break Duration |
The total number of hours the employee took break. |
Type of Duty |
From the drop-down list box, select the type of the duty. For example, call back duty. |
Entry Type

From the drop-down list box, select any one of the following options

Regular Units |
The number of hours booked. |
OT Hours |
The total duration of overtime. |
OT 1.0 x |
The number of hours of over time worked for the specific date. “OT 1.0 x” implies that the pay for the over time will be equivalent to the pay given for an hour. |
OT 1.5 x |
The number of hours of over time worked for the specific date. “OT 1.5 x” implies that the pay for the over time will be 1.5 times the pay given for an hour. |
OT 2.0 x |
The number of hours of over time worked for the specific date. “OT 2.0 x” implies that the pay for the over time will be 2.0 times the pay given for an hour. |
Cost Center |
The code identifying the cost center to which the employee is mapped. |
Authorizer Remarks

The remarks pertaining to the authorizer. |
Absent Hours |
The number of hours for which the employee was absent . |

The system displays the following fields.
Shift |
The shift of the employee. |
Status |
The status of the time sheet record may be “Pending For Authorization”, “Authorized”, “Draft”, “Rejected” and “Revoked”. |
Leave Hours |
The total leave hours. |
Leave Type

The type of the leave applicable to the employee. |
Late(Mins) |
The number of minutes by which the employee was late for work. |
Early (Mins) |
The number of minutes by which the employee left early. |
Exception Status |
The Exception status would be generated based on the Time in and Time Out details of the record. This status is used for identifying the Exception attendance records that includes records like Missing In, Missing Out, Lateness, Early Out, Swipe Overlapping with leave etc. |
Select the “Save” pushbutton, to save the details.
To submit time sheet record for authorization
Select the “Submit” pushbutton to submit the record for authorization.
Select the “Delete” pushbutton to delete a record.
You can delete only those records that are not in the "Authorized" status.
To proceed
Select the "Allowances" link at the bottom of the page to view allowance details.
