Ensure that you are in the “Select User for Viewing Permissions” page.
Enter the complete name of the user in the “User Name” field.
Select the “View User Permissions” hyperlink beside. The system displays the “View User Permissions to Component – Org. Unit” page which you can use to view permissions.
Use the “Search Criteria” option to specify search parameters for the user name. The system displays the records that match the search criteria specified to the multiline in the page.
Select the hyperlink in the “User Name” column of the required record in the multiline. The system displays the “View User Permissions to Component – Org. Unit” page.
The system displays the following detail at the top of the page.
User Name |
The name of the user for whom the permission have been set. |
Specify the following details.
Role |
The role of the user for which permissions are set. From the drop-down list box, select the required option. |
As you select the user role, the system lists in the “Org. Unit” drop-down list box below the descriptions of the organization units for which service provider permissions to the specified User-Role combination are set.
Org. Unit |
The description of the organization unit for which service provider permissions for the specified user-role combination are set. From the drop-down list box, select the required org. unit description. By default, the drop-down list box displays with “Select”. |
The system displays the following details applicable to the specified user-role-org. unit combination in the “User Permissions to Component - Org. Unit” multiline below.
Component Name |
The description of the component applicable to the specified user-role-org. unit combination, for example, Competency, Employee Movements etc. |
Org. Unit |
The description of the organization unit in which the component is deployed. |
Access |
Indicates if access permissions are set for the corresponding component – org. Unit combination for the selected user. “Yes” indicates permissions are set, “No” indicates otherwise. |
Comments |
Any additional comments you want to specify pertaining to the permissions set. |
Select the book icon beside the comments field.
The system displays a dialog box in which you can view the comments.
Select the “Cancel” pushbutton to close the dialog box.
