Ensure that you are in the "Help on Employee" page.
Note: Alternatively, you can launch the “Help On Employee” page from the “Change Employee Reporting To Relationships” page also while specifying the code of the new supervisor.
The system displays the following field at the top right of the page.
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Specify the following detail.
Employment Unit |
From the drop-down list box, select the employment unit to which the employee belongs. |
To specify search criteria, enter the following fields.
Employee Code |
To view all the employee codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these employee codes. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: ECC1*, will search for those employee codes that start with ECC1. Other examples are *ECC1 and EC*C1. |
Employee Name |
To view all the employee names containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these employee names. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: To get Jonathan, type in JO*, to search for those employee names that start with JO. Other examples are *NATHAN, JO*AN, and JONATH*. |
Assignment No |
To view all the assignment numbers containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these assignment numbers. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: 1*, 2*. Other examples are *1A12, 01*2 and 01A*. |
Position Title |
To view all the position title descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these position descriptions. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Examples: *MANAGER, MAN*R etc. |
Department Description |
To view all the department descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these department descriptions. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: HR, Fic*, Admin* etc. |
Job Title |
To view all the job title descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these department descriptions. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: Progr*, Manager* etc. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton to view the list of employee records satisfying these search criteria.
Note: To perform an effective search, enter maximum number of fields in the search criteria.
Click on the “Select” checkbox corresponding to the required employee record after viewing the details displayed in the corresponding fields.
After selecting the required employee record from the multiline, select the “OK” pushbutton.
The previous page reappears and the selected employee code will be displayed in the corresponding field.
