4      Select “Maintain Apartment” from the left pane.

4      The “Select Apartment to Edit” page appears.

4      The system displays the following detail at the top right of the page.

The description of the organization unit in which the ‘Singapore Statutory Setup Unit’ component is deployed.

4      Select the apartment record, either through the “Direct Entry” group box or through the “Search Criteria” group box.

To select through Direct Entry

Use this method if you know the complete code of the required apartment.

4      Enter the complete code of the apartment you want to edit, in the “Apartment Code” field.

4      Select the “Edit Apartment” hyperlink beside.

4      The “Edit Apartment” page appears. All details of the selected record are displayed.

4      To edit a apartment details, refer to the topic “Editing apartment details”.

To select through Search Criteria

Use this method if you know only a few characters of the apartment code. In the search option, you can specify search criteria, with or without wild cards, for a range of apartment details. The system fetches the records that match the combination of search criteria specified.

For example, if you specify search parameters for the name and code of the apartment, the system fetches the records that match these criteria. To increase the probability of finding the closest matching records, specify values for as many details as possible.

4      Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.

Apartment Code

The unique code of the apartment. To view all the apartment codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these codes.

 

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: STA1*, will search for those employee codes that start with STA1. Other examples are *STA1 and ST*1 etc.

Apartment Short Description

The short description of the apartment. To view all the apartment descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these descriptions.

Statutory Agency Name

The name of the apartment. To view all the apartment names containing specific characters type in the starting character or characters of these names.

 

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards.

4      Select the “Search” pushbutton.

Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records satisfying all the specified values.

If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are available for the selected “Singapore Statutory Setup Unit”

4      The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the apartment records that satisfy the search criteria specified.

Apartment Code

The unique code of the apartment.

Apartment Short Description

The short description of the apartment.

Apartment Name

The name of the apartment.

Inactive

Indicates if the apartment details are in active or inactive status.  “Yes” indicates that the details are in inactive status and are not available for use in other activities. “No” indicates that the details are in active status and are available for use in other activities.

4      After selecting the required record from the multiline, select the hyperlink on the required apartment code.

4      The “Edit Apartment” page appears which you can use to make the necessary changes.
