Select the “Edit Provider Details” link from the “Select Provider” page.
The “Edit Provider Details" page appears.
The system displays the following fields.
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
Reimbursement Setup Unit |
The name of the organization unit selected from the previous page |
Language |
The language you selected in the previous page is displayed. From the “Language” drop-down list box, you can select any other language, to retrieve the record in the selected language. |
Save in Language |
The language you selected in the previous page is displayed. From the “Language” drop-down list box, you can select any other language, to translate the record to this language. To translate the details into another language, example from German to French |
Provider Code |
The unique code identifying the external provider |
Edit the following
Provider Name |
The name of the external service provider |
Provider Short Description |
A short description of the external service provider |
Contact Type |
Indicates whether the contact type is a Main Office or Head Office. Other contact types can be defined in the Quick Codes. |

While creating a provider, the contact type must be Main, only then a provider can be created. If other contact type details are to be created, the provider type needs to be changed to the required type and the other details are to be given and saved again. |

Address |
The address of the external service provider |
Country |
The name of the country where the external service provider resides |
Depending on the country you selected, the fields beneath “Country” can change.
The literals for drop down list boxes are defined in state masters in HRMSGNMAS component and the values for the drop-down list boxes are defined in the "Create Locals" activity of the HRMSGNMAS component.
State |
The name of the state where the external service provider resides |
City/Town |
The name of the city/town where the external service provider resides |
Postal Code |
The postal code of the external service provider |
Phone 1 |
The phone number of the external service provider |
Phone 2 |
Alternate phone number of the external service provider |
Phone 3 |
Alternate phone number of the external service provider |
Fax 1 |
The fax number of the external service provider |
Fax 2 |
Alternate fax number of the external service provider |

Edit the following details, in the “Contact Details” multiline
Contact person |
The name of each person to be contacted, for all official communication |
Communication Type |
Indicate whether the person to be contacted is the primary contact or a secondary contact |
Phone |
The phone number of the person to be contacted |
Fax |
The fax number of the person to be contacted |
Mobile |
The mobile number of the person to be contacted |
E- Mail |
The e-mail of the person to be contacted |
Select the Inactive check box
The provider record is unavailable, until you activate it again.
Enter any remarks pertaining to creating a provider, in the “Comments“ field.
Select the “Edit“ pushbutton, to save the record.
Select the “Delete” pushbutton. The record is deleted
