Maintain Candidate Portal Configuration Parameters

The maintain candidate portal configuration parameters screen facilitates configuration of all pages, sections and fields in candidate portal profile screen. Separate configuration has to be done for general profile and interacting recruitment OUs for each Candidate Portal OU.

Enter the following field details in the header:

Career Portal Setup OU

The ‘Career Portal Setup OU’ combo loads the OU in which the career portal setup component has been deployed. Mandatory.

Career Portal OU

The ‘Career Portal OU’ combo is loaded with the career portal OUs interacting with the career portal setup OU as defined in CIM. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page. Mandatory.

Configure for Recruitment OU

On selecting the Career Portal OU, ‘Configure for Recruitment OU’ combo is populated with all Recruitment OUs interacting with the Career Portal OU as defined in CIM along with the value ‘General’. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page. Mandatory.

Note: On selection of Recruitment OU in the “Configuration for Recruitment OU” combo or on selecting the value “General”, if the configuration has already been saved, fetch the saved configurations in all the fields and the user is allowed to modify the details and save. All the configurations are saved against the Career Portal OU – Recruitment OU combination.

The “Maintain Candidate Portal Configuration Parameters” screen consists of the following tabs:

About Company
Pages
Sections
Fields

Tab - About Company

The “About Company” tab has a text field to capture the about company text to be displayed in the job description page of career portal. The text can be saved for each of the interacting recruitment OUs.

Enter the following field details:

Save In Language

The “Save In Language” combo is loaded with all the languages supported by the product. From the drop-down list box, select the required language.

Enter the text in the text box provided.
Click “Save” to save the details entered.

Tab - Pages

On launch of this tab, the configurable pages grid displays exhaustive list of pages available in Career Portal which are loaded from metadata.

The following details are displayed under “Configurable Tiles” section:

Tiles	The exhaustive list of pages available in Career Portal which are loaded from metadata.
Enable	Select this checkbox to view the page and tile in carousal in the profile page in career portal.
Applicable for	The “Applicable for” combo is loaded from system defined quick codes with the value “Only Profile” when the Configure for Recruitment OU combo is General and “Only Job Application” is loaded when the Configure for Recruitment OU combo value is an interacting recruitment OU. 4 Configuration saved against ‘General’ will be applicable for ‘Only Profile’ i.e. General Profile where the candidate does not apply against any specific vacancy. Configuration saved against an interacting recruitment OU will be applicable for job applications against RFHs pertaining to the recruitment OU.
Sequence	The “Sequence” combo is loaded with numeric values. It is loaded with numbers from 1 to n. (n = number of configurable pages available). Note: The purpose of “Sequence” tab is to determine the order in which the pages must be displayed in 'My Profile' page in Candidate Portal.

Click “Save” to save the details entered.

Note: On click of save below the Configurable Pages grid, the contents in the Configurable Pages grid will be saved and the configuration reflects in the Career Portal.

Tab - Sections

Enter the following field details in the header:

Pages

The “Pages” combo is loaded with the list of enabled pages saved in the grid. Mandatory.

The following details are displayed under “Configurable Tiles” section:

Sections

On selecting a page from the “Pages” combo, the list of configurable sections in the page will be fetched and displayed in the grid from metadata.

Enable

The “Enable” checkbox is unchecked by default on selecting a section from the “Pages” combo.

Note: You are allowed to select the ‘Enable’ checkbox to make a section visible in the portal and deselect the same to hide the section.

Applicable for

The “Applicable for” combo is loaded with the value “Only Profile” for Configure for Recruitment combo value ‘General’ and “Only Job Application” interacting recruitment OUs chosen in the Configure for Recruitment OU from system defined quick codes and the combo will be defaulted with “Both Profile and Job Application” value.

Configuration saved against ‘General’ will be applicable for ‘Only Profile’. i.e. General Profile where the candidate does not apply against any specific vacancy.

Configuration saved against an interacting recruitment OU will be applicable for job applications to RFHs pertaining to the recruitment OU.

Click “Save” to save the details entered.

On clicking “Save”, the contents in the multiline will be saved and the changes will reflect in the Career Portal.

Tab - Fields

Enter the following field details in the header:

Sections

The “Sections” combo is loaded with all enabled sections with configurable fields. From the drop-down list box, select the required option. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page. Mandatory.

Note: The default value is “Select” if there is no configuration saved for any of the section.

The following details are displayed under “Configurable Fields” multiline:

Configuration	On selecting a section in the “Sections” combo, the multiline will fetch all the configurable controls in the section from metadata.
Enable	The “Enable” checkbox is unchecked by default on selecting a section from the “Sections” combo. Note: You are allowed to enable all the controls by selecting the checkbox and they will be visible in the Career Portal.
Mandatory	Select the “Mandatory” checkbox if the controls are mandatory. Note: If a control is marked as mandatory, an error message will be raised in the candidate does not enter the details in the portal.
Applicable for	The “Applicable for” combo is loaded with the value “Only Profile” for Configure for Recruitment combo value ‘General’ and “Only Job Application” interacting recruitment OUs chosen in the Configure for Recruitment OU from system defined quick codes and the combo will be defaulted with “Both Profile and Job Application” value. Configuration saved against ‘General’ will be applicable for ‘Only Profile’. i.e. General Profile where the candidate does not apply against any specific vacancy. Configuration saved against an interacting recruitment OU will be applicable for job applications against RFHs pertaining to the recruitment OU.

Click “Save” to save the details entered.

On saving, the contents in the multiline will get saved and the changes will reflect in the Career Portal.

Note:

At least one page should be enabled. If a page is enabled, at least one section in the page should be enabled.
If Other Details section is enabled, at least one field in the section should be enabled. If this condition is not satisfied both for “Configure for Recruitment OU” combo value ‘General’ or any of the interacting recruitment OUs, an error will be raised in Candidate Portal if a candidate creates a profile/submit a job application and the candidate will not be allowed to access the screen.
