Getting help on objective rating/rate grade
Select the help icon from the “Rate Grade” field.
The “Help on Objective Rating/Rate Grade” page appears.
The system displays the following from the previous page.
Appraisal Setup Unit |
The organization unit to which the selected employee belongs |
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
Appraisal Calendar Code |
A unique code to identify the appraisal calendar |
Appraisal Type |
The type of appraisal for which the employee’s appraisers must be defined |
Calendar Short Description |
The short description of the appraisal calendar. |
Period From |
The date from which the appraisal calendar starts |
Period To |
The date on which the appraisal calendar ends |
Parameter Category |
The parameter category defined for the appraisal calendar. |
Valid Upto |
The date until which the appraisal calendar is valid. It is the date within which the appraisal exercise must be completed. |
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box
Objective Group |
From the drop-down list box, select the objective group from which you want to retrieve the rate grade details. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in "Record Appraisal Objective Parameter" activity for the selected appraisal calendar in the multiline. The system displays "Blank" by default on launch of the page. |
Objective Type |
From the drop-down list box, select the type of an objective from which you want to retrieve the rate grade details. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in "Record Appraisal Objective Parameter" activity for the selected appraisal calendar in the multiline. The system displays "Blank" by default on launch of the page. |
Rating Pattern |
From the drop-down list box, select the rating pattern for the appraisal type and parameter category. The combo is loaded from the user defined quick codes. One or many Rating Pattern can be mapped to the objective group and Type for the appraisal type and parameter category combination. |
Rating From |
To view all rate grades whose lower limit is within a given range, enter this lower limit. For example, to view all rate grades within the range 5-10, enter 5 in this field. |
Rating To |
To view all rate grades whose upper limit is within a given range, enter this upper limit. For example, to view all rate grades within the range 5-10, enter 10 in this field. |
Rate Grade Code |
To view all rate grades whose codes contain one or more specified characters, enter this character/s in combination with wild cards. |
Rate Grade Description |
To view all rate grades whose descriptions contain one or more specified characters, enter this character/s in combination with wild cards. |
Rate Grade Long Description |
To view all rate grades whose descriptions are detailed, enter this character/s in combination with wild cards. |
Achievement % / Units From |
The achievement in percentage or in unit for the Rating Range specified. |
Achievement % / Units To |
The achievement in percentage or in unit for the Rating Range specified. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton.
The multiline displays the following details of the records that satisfy your search criteria
Objective Group |
The objective group for which the ratings are provided. |
Objective Type |
The objective type for which the ratings are provided. |
Rating Pattern |
The rating pattern defined for the appraisal type and parameter category combination. |
Rating From |
The lower limit (starting number of the range) in the rating. |
Rating To |
The upper limit (ending number of the range) in the rating. |
Rate Grade Code |
The unique code that identifies the rate grade. |
Rate Grade Description |
The description of the rate grade. |
Rate Grade Long Description |
The detailed description of the rate grade. |
Achievement % / Units From |
The achievement in percentage or in unit for the Rating Range specified. |
Achievement % / Units To |
The achievement in percentage or in unit for the Rating Range specified. |
In the multiline, check the “Select” box contained in the Rate Grade code record that you want to select.
Select the “OK” pushbutton.
The previous page reappears. The Rate Grade code you selected is displayed in the “Rate Grade” field of this page.
