Employee Code Setup Unit |
The organization unit in which employee code parameters are defined for the login organization unit. |
Employee Code Generation Method |
Indicates whether the employee code generation method is set as either “Automatic” or “Manual”. If the generation method is set to automatic, then the system increments the current value of the employee code by one and assigns it to the new employee being created. For example, if the current value is 0007, the system increments it by one and assigns 0008 to the new employee file. If you set the generation method to manual, the user has to enter the numeric value of the employee code manually |
Length of Employee Code |
The maximum length of the employee code. It must be a positive integer less than ten. If you enter the value as nine, it indicates that the maximum length of the employee code cannot exceed nine characters. For example, if you specify that the employee code must have a prefix and assign the prefix length as three, the maximum character length of the numeric part of the code will be six characters. |
Employee Code Prefix |
Indicates whether the employee code should have a prefix or not.
