Grade Cost Master – A Summary of the Activity
The “Grade Cost Master” activity enables you to calculate the cost/rate for a particular grade within a particular period.

Selecting “Grade Cost Master” to calculate the cost for a particular grade for a particular currency type. |
Grade Cost Master
ØSelect the “Grade Cost Master” activity under “Pre Contracting”.
The “Grade Cost Master” page appears.
ØEnter the following field details in the header:

Organization Unit |
From the drop-down list box, select the required option. The combo is defaulted with the login OU for you to choose. Mandatory. |

Currency |
Select the required currency type from the drop-down list box. The combo is loaded with various currency types for you to choose. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page. Mandatory. |

Effective Period |
On selecting the currency type, the effective period combo gets loaded if grade wise cost has already been defined. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page. Mandatory. |

Modification Option |
From the drop-down list box, select the required modification option. The combo is loaded with the values “Correct” and “Update” for you to choose. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page. Mandatory. |

New Effective From |
Enter the New Effective From date for a new record or for modification option – “update”

ØEnter the following field details in the multiline of all the above mentioned tabs:

Grade Set |
Select the grade set from the drop-down list. This combo is loaded with all the existing grade sets. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page. Mandatory. |

Grade |
The grade is displayed based on the grade set selected from the Grade Set combo. |
|
Cost |
The cost to be charged per UOM for the selected grade. Mandatory. |
|
UOM |
The unit of measurement. You are allowed to select the required UOM option from the drop-down list. The combo is loaded with the values “Days”, “Hour” and “Week” for you to choose. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page. Mandatory. |
ØClick “Save” to save the details.
