Ensure that you are in the “Department-Cost Center Mapping” page.
Select the help icon in the “Cost Center Code” column of the multiline.
The “Help on Cost Center” page appears.
A blank multiline appears, containing the following fields: “Code”, “Description”, “From Date”, “To Date” and a “Select” check box.
Specify search criteria for the following details in the search criteria fields.
Cost center Code |
To view all the cost center codes containing specific character, type in the starting character or characters of these cost center codes. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Examples: CC1*, C*12, CC*1. |
Cost center Description |
To view all the cost center descriptions containing specific character, type in the starting character or characters of these cost center descriptions. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. |
Effective From Date |
The date from which the cost center is effective. |
Effective To Date |
The date till which the cost center is effective. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton to view the list of cost center records satisfying these search criteria.
The system displays the details of the cost centers in the corresponding columns of the multiline.
Click on the “Select” checkbox corresponding to the required cost center details. After selecting the required cost center record from the multiline, select the “OK” pushbutton.
The “Department Cost center mapping” page reappears.
The selected cost center code is displayed in the “Cost Center Code” column of the multiline.
