Select “Edit Grade Set” from left pane.
The “Select Grade Set for Editing” page appears.
The system displays the following details at the top right of the page.
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Specify the following details.
Organization Structure Unit |
The organization unit in which the organization structure component is deployed. |
Language |
The system displays the language in which the login user logged in. In other words, this refers to the language you selected in the login screen, to access this activity. |

From the drop-down list box, select the language in which you require to edit the record |
Select the grade set record, either through the “Direct Entry” group box or through the “Search Criteria” group box.
Use this method if you know the complete code of the grade set.
Enter the complete code of the grade set in the “Grade Set Code” field.
Select the “Edit Grade Set” hyperlink beside.
The “Edit Grade Set” page appears. All the details of the selected record are displayed.
To edit grade set, refer to the topic “Editing a grade set”.
Use this method if you know just a few characters of the grade set code. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the grade set code contains. Search based on wild card characters is also supported. To narrow your search to the closest matching records, you can also enter search criteria for the short description of the grade set.
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
Grade set Code |
To view all the grade set codes containing specific characters, type in the starting range of these characters. Example: GS1*, *1. |
Grade Set Short Description |
To view all the grade set short descriptions containing specific characters, type in the ending range of these characters. Example: Managers, Executives, Trainees etc. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton.
Note:
If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the
records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search
criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records satisfying
all the specified values.
If you do not enter any
value in the search criteria group box and select the “Search” pushbutton,
the system will fetch all the records that are available for the selected
organization structure unit.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the grade set records that satisfy the search criteria specified.
Grade Set Code |
The unique code of the grade set. |
Grade Set Short Description |
The short description of the grade set. |
Inactive |
Indicates whether the grade set is active and available for use or otherwise. |
Select the data hyperlink on the required grade set in the multiline. The system displays the “Edit Grade Set” page, which you can use to edit or delete the grade set record.
Use this page to select the grade set, which you want to edit.
