Select “View Scale” from left pane.
The “Select Scale for Viewing” page appears.
The system displays the following details at the top right of the page.
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Specify the following details.
Organization Structure Unit |
The organization unit in which the organization structure component is deployed. |
Language |
The system displays the language in which the login user logged in. In other words, this refers to the language you selected in the login screen, to access this activity. |

From the drop-down list box, select the language in which you require to view the record. |
Select the scale record, either through the “Direct Entry” group box or through the “Search Criteria” group box.
Use this method if you know the complete code of the scale.
Enter the complete code of the scale in the “Scale Code” field.
Select the “View Scale” hyperlink beside.
The “View Scale” page appears. All the details of the selected record are displayed.
To view a scale, refer to the topic “Viewing a scale”.
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the scale code. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the scale code contains. Search based on wild card characters is also supported. To narrow your search to the closest matching records, you can also enter search criteria for the short description of the scale.
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
Scale Code |
To view all scale codes containing specific characters, type in a starting range of these characters along with “%”or “ * “. |

Example: If you type in S*, it will display all the scale codes of the S series. |
Scale Short Description |
To view all scale short descriptions containing specific characters, type in a range of these characters, along with “%” or “ * “. |

Examples: *scale, scale*, new*scale |
Select the “Search” pushbutton.
Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are available for the selected organization structure unit.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the scale records that satisfy the search criteria specified.
Scale Code |
The unique code of the scale. |
Scale Short Description |
The short description of the scale. |
Inactive |
Indicates whether the scale is active and available for use or otherwise. |
Select the hyperlink on the required scale in the multiline. The system displays the “View Scale” page, which you can use to view or delete the scale record.
Through this page, you can select a scale, which you want to view.
