Through this activity you can map a grade to a scale. A grade is a qualitative unit, which rationally differentiates the employees belonging to the same grade set. When you map a grade to a scale, all employees having the particular grade set-grade combination will inherit the specified scale.

To map a grade to a scale, you are to specify the following details:

• The description of the organization structure unit in which the grade set-grade master definitions are made.

•  The description of the grade set to which the grade you want to map to the scale belongs.

• The unique code of the scale to which the grade should be mapped.

• The date from which the grade-scale mapping should take effect.

• The description of the currency that should be made applicable to the specified grade-scale combination.

You can also view the history of modifications made to the grade-scale record. The modification history displays the various instances of mapping the grade to different scales.
