Select the hire request for which you want to screen resumes through the “Select Requisition for Next Level Screening” page.
Select the “Screen Resumes at Next Level” hyperlink at the bottom of the page.
The system displays the “Screen Resumes” page.
The system displays the following details at the top of the page.
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Screening Unit |
The screening unit value selected in the previous page. |
Request for Hiring Unit |
The request for hiring unit value selected in the previous page. |
Request No. |
The serial number of the hire request selected in the previous page. |
Position Title |
The title of the position for which the hire request was made. |
Department |
The department for which the hire request has been made. |
Job Title |
The title of the job for which the hire request has been made. |
Required By Date |
The date by which the requirement for the hire request has to be met. |
Number Required |
The number of people to be hired for the hire request. |
Requester |
The code and name of the employee who made the hire request. |
The system facilitates applying by default the screening criteria already specified in the selected hire request or the screening criteria saved previously. You can use the “Search Criteria” fields to specify screening criteria and save the particular combination of screening criteria with a description to identify it. For example, you can indicate using the “Search Criteria” fields in the page that the resumes of applicants having a total experience of three years, in the age group of 25 to 30 years and who have prior experience working in the software industry should be screened from among general resumes alone. You can save the combination of search criteria which you specified by selecting the “Save Screening Criteria” pushbutton to the top left of the “Resume List” multiline. The system lists in the drop-down list box, the “Default RFH Criteria” value and the descriptions of all the screening criteria saved previously.
Select from the drop-down list box beside the “Get Screening Criteria” pushbutton, the description of the screening criteria which you want to apply by default to screen the resumes.
Select the “Get Screening Criteria” pushbutton.
The system screens and displays in the “Resume List” multiline the resumes that match the combination of screening criteria that correspond to the selected default value.
Use the “Qualification Required” multiline to view the following qualification details.
Qualification Code |
The code of the qualification based on which the resumes were screened. |

The relational operator value. |
Institution |
The name of the institution that awarded the qualification. |

The code of the first alternate qualification. |

You can specify the following screening criteria based on which you want to fetch and view the resumes submitted for next level screening.
Total Months of Experience |
The total experience based on which you want to screen the resumes. For example, if you specify 3 and 6 in the fields and select “Years” option from the drop-down list box, the system fetches resumes of applicants having three to six years of work experience. |
Relevant Work Experience |
The number of years of work experience that is relevant to the position for which the resumes are being screened out of the total number of years of work experience. Specify the values in the fields and select the unit i.e., “Months”, “Years” etc., from the drop-down list box. |
Industry Type/Sector |
The description of the industry in which the applicant should have worked previously, for example, Software, hotel, tourism etc. From the drop-down list box, select the required option. |
Work Experience for Selected Industry (Months) |
The minimum number of months for which the applicant should have worked in the specified industry. Specify the values in the fields and select the required option from the drop-down list box. |
Category |
Category can be either Professional or Amateur, etc. |
Age (Years) |
The age group to which the applicant should belong, for example, 25-30 years or 30-40 years etc. Specify the values in the fields and select the required options i.e., “Years” etc., from the drop-down list box. |
Willing to Travel |
Indicate if you want to short list applicants who have expressed willingness to travel or otherwise. Select “Yes” to indicate willingness to travel and “No” to indicate otherwise. |
Organization Name |
The name of the organization in which the applicant should have worked previously. If you specify the organization’s name, the system shortlists from among resumes of applicants who worked in the specified organization. |
Identification Document |
The type of document used by the applicant as identification, for example, passport, driving license etc. From the drop-down list box, select the required value. |
Resumes Sort By |
Values in the multiline can be sorted on the columns in the multiline and it can also be sorted on ascending or descending order. |
Number of Records to be fetched |
The number of records that should be fetched based on the specified screening criteria. |
Select the “Get Resumes” pushbutton.
The system lists in the “Resume List” multiline, the resumes that match the combination of screening criteria specified.
Enter a description for the screening criteria in the “Screening Criteria Name” field.
Select the “Save Screening Criteria” pushbutton beside.
The system saves the screening criteria which you can apply by default while screening resumes.
The system displays in the “Resume List” multiline, the following details of the resumes that match the combination of specified screening criteria.
Resume ID |
The unique ID of the resume. |
Select the hyperlink on the required resume ID.
The system displays the “View Resume” page in which you can view all the details.
Applicant Name |
The name of the applicant |
Screening Status |
Indicate if you want to short list, reject, or final short list the applicant by selecting the appropriate option from the drop-down list box. |
Age (Years) |
The age of the applicant in years. |
Qualification Match Count |
The number of qualification available with the number of qualification required for a RFH. |
Total Work Experience (Months) |
The total number of years of work experience that the applicant possesses. The system displays the value in months. |
Relevant Work Experience |
The number of months of work experience out the total work experience that is relevant for the job. |
Competency Ratio |
Competency ratio is calculated by the system. Number of competency available / competency required. |
Competency Match Count |
The number of Competency available with the number of Competency required. |
Resume Status |
The status of the resume. |
Remarks |
Enter your remarks pertaining to the resume. |
Category |
The category can be either Professional or Amateur. |
Select the “Next Screening Required” check box.
Enter the code in the “Next Screening User” field. Note that you can access help to enter the code.
Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the specified details.
