Maintaining skill details
You can maintain the skill set details possessed by the employees.
Select “Maintain Skills” from the left pane
The “Maintain Skills” page appears
Specify the following

HR Set Up Unit |
Select the setup unit in which the HR setup component is deployed, from the drop-down list box. |
The system displays the following details.

Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
|
Maximum Skill Level |
The maximum level that can be acquired for a particular skill. |
|
Currency |
The base currency that is applicable to the organization unit selected. |
You can specify the following details in the ”Skill details” multiline.

Skill Type |
The type to which the skill belongs |
|
Skill Code |
A unique code to identify a skill. Mandatory. |
|
Skill |
A description pertaining to the skill code. Mandatory. |
|
Note: You cannot modify the values entered for the “Skill Code” and “Skill” fields, once the skill details are recorded. |
|
|
Skill Rate |
The skill rate pertaining to the specified skill. Mandatory. |
|
Minimum Desired Level |
The minimum level at which the skill is to be possessed. Mandatory. |
|
Status |
Specify the current status of the particular skill set. |
To save the details
Select the “Maintain skills” pushbutton to save the details.
On selecting the “Maintain skills” pushbutton, the following details are displayed in the multiline.

The name of the person who created the skill set details |
|
Created Date |
The date on which the skill set details were created |
|
Last Modified By |
The name of the person who last modified the skill set details |
|
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the skill set details are last modified |
