Select “Maintain State” from the left pane.
The “Maintain State” page appears.
Specify the following.
HR Set Up Unit |
Select the setup unit in which the HR setup component is deployed, from the drop-down list box. |
Country |
Select the country for which you want to define the state details. |
The details of the state pertaining to the specified country are displayed in the “Search results” multiline.
State Code |
A unique code to identify a state |
State |
A description pertaining to the state code. |
Status |
The active or inactive status of the state details. You can activate or deactivate the state details, whenever necessary. If the state is in active status, it indicates that it is available for use in other activities. |
Local type1 |
The type of sub-administrative unit into which the state is divided. Select the appropriate option from the drop-down list box, the corresponding details of which can be entered in the "Local Details" multiline. |
Local type 3 |
The type of sub-administrative unit into which the state is divided. Select the appropriate option from the drop-down list box |
To save the details
Select the “Save State” pushbutton to save the details
On selecting the “Save State” pushbutton, the following details are displayed in the multiline.
Created By |
The name of the user who created the state details |
Created Date |
The date on which the state details were created |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who modified the existing state details |
Last Modified Date |
The latest date on which the state details were modified. |
Select the following details from the “Select A State” group box.
State |
The name of the state for which you want to specify the local type details |
Local type |
The type of sub-administrative unit into which the state is divided |
Specify the following details in the “Local Details” multiline.
Local Code |
The name of the state for which you want to specify the local type details |
Local |
The type of sub-administrative unit into which the state is divided |
Status |

To save the details
