4 Ensure that you are in the “Request to Record Assignment - Qualification” page.
4 Select the help icon in the “Qualification Code” column of the multiline.
4 The system displays the “Help on Qualification” page.
4 Use the “Search Criteria” group box to filter the qualification records to those that closely match the specific search parameters you enter. Otherwise the system will display all the qualification records in the multiline.
4 Specify search criteria for any or all of the following details. The system will fetch the Qualification Code records that match the combination of search criteria you specify.
4 A blank multiline appears, containing the following fields: “Qualification Code”, “Qualification Description”, “Qualification Level”, “Specialization” and “Qualification Type”.

Qualification Code |
The unique code of the qualification. Enter a specific search parameter for the code. If you enter the search parameter as “ Q*0* ”, the system will fetch all the records whose prefix begins with “Q” and whose numeric value of the code begins with “0”, for example, QFN0001, and QFN0002 Specify the required combination of the wild cards for the search such as, *FN and Q*N*001. |

Qualification Description |
The description of the qualification, for example, MBBS and MBA If you specify the search criteria for the qualification description as "MBBS", without wild cards, the system will fetch only those records whose description is "MBBS". If you specify the search criteria as "MB*", with wild cards, the system will fetch all the records whose description begins with "MB", for example, MBBS and MBA. Enter a specific search criteria for the qualification description. |

Qualification Level |
The academic level of the qualification such as graduation and postgraduation. From the drop-down list box, select the required qualification level for the search. |

Specialization |
The specialization, for example, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science Engineering, of the qualification. From the drop-down list box, select the required specialization for the search. |

Qualification Type |
The type of the qualification, for example, License, Certification and Degree Qualification type indicates if the qualification pertains to a license, certification or degree From the drop-down list box, select the required qualification type for the search. |
4 Select the “Search” pushbutton to view the list of qualification records satisfying the combination of search criteria specified.
4 The following qualification details are displayed in the corresponding columns of the multiline.

Qualification Code |
The unique code of the qualification. |

Qualification Description |
The description of the qualification, for example, MBBS and MBA applicable to the selected qualification code. |

Qualification Level |
The academic level of the qualification such as graduation, post-graduation applicable to the selected qualification code. |

Specialization |
The specific area of study. For example, if the qualification specified is engineering, it indicates the specific area such as, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering to which the qualification pertains. |

Qualification Type |
The type of the qualification, for example, License, Certification and Degree applicable to the selected qualification code. Qualification type indicates if the qualification pertains to a license, certification or degree. |
4 Click the “Select” checkbox corresponding to the required qualification details record.
4 Select the “OK” pushbutton, below the multiline.
4 The “Request to Record Assignment - Qualification ” page reappears.
4 The system displays the Qualification code and the values for the Qualification description, Qualification level, Specialization and Qualification Type details in the corresponding columns of the multiline.
You can use this page to select the required qualification.
