4 Ensure that you are in the “Help On Position” page.
4 To specify search criteria, enter the following fields.
Position Code |
To view all the position codes containing specific character, type in the starting character or characters of these position codes. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Examples: MN1*, M*12, MN*1. |
Position Control ID |
To view all the position control IDs containing specific character, type in the starting character or characters of these position control Ids. |
Position Title |
To view all the position titles containing specific character, type in the starting character or characters of these position titles. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Examples: *MANAGER, TRAINEE*, MAN*R. |
Department |
To view all the department descriptions containing specific character, type in the starting character or characters of these department descriptions. |
Job |
To view all the job descriptions containing specific character, type in the starting character or characters of these job descriptions. |
4 Select the “Search” pushbutton to view the list of position records satisfying these search criteria.
4 The system displays the following fields in the multiline:
Position Code |
The code of the position . |
Position Control ID |
The description of the position control ID. |
Position Title |
The title of the position. |
Department |
The description of the department. |
Job |
The description of the job. |
4 Click on the “Select” checkbox corresponding to the required position details. After selecting the required position record from the Help multiline, select the “OK” pushbutton.
4 The selected position code is displayed in the corresponding field in the previous page.
