The “Help on Competency” page appears.
The system displays the following.

Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the competency code. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you can enter one or more characters that the employee code contains. Optionally, you can enter competency description to narrow your search. Search based on wild card characters is also supported.
Enter the following fields.
Competency Code |
To view all the competency codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these competency codes. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Examples: C1*, C*12, CP*1. |
Competency Description |
To view all the competency descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these competency descriptions. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Examples: PRESENTATION*, *SKILLS, PRES*SKILLS. |
Select the search pushbutton to carry out the search
The system displays the results of the search in the following multiline.
Competency Code |
The unique code of the competency. |
Competency Description |
The description of the competency. Examples: presentation skills, communication s skills. |
Click on the “Select” checkbox corresponding to the required competency details record and select the “OK” pushbutton.
The “Add Exercise Information” page reappears.
The selected competency code is displayed in the “Competency Code” column.
