Add exercise information
Select “Create Exercise” option from the left pane.
The “Add Exercise Information” page appears.
The system displays the following.
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. Tell me more |
Enter the following fields.
Hire Process General Information Unit |
Select the organization unit in which you must create hire process general information groups. The drop-down list box displays all the organization units where you have permission to create hire process general information groups. |
Exercise Name |
To view all the exercise names containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these exercise names. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: To get Group Discussion, type in GR*, to search for those exercise names that start with GR. Other examples are *SSION, GR*ON, and GROUP*. |
Exercise Short Description |
To view all the exercise descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these exercise descriptions. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: To get entry level, type in EN*, to search for those exercise descriptions that start with EN. Other examples are *LEVEL, ENT*EL, and ENT*. |
Inactive |
If you want a particular exercise to be inactive, select the check box beside the “Inactive” field. Otherwise, you can leave the checkbox blank. |
Exercise Briefing |
The brief description of the exercise. It is a free text field. Example: For group discussion exercise, the brief description can be “the group discussion is conducted to assess communication and leadership competencies”. |
The following multiline displays the details pertaining to assessable competency.
Enter the following fields in the multiline.
Competency Code |
Specify the code of the competency that can be assessed. Help available. |
Competency Description |
The description of the competency is displayed. Examples: communication, leadership quality and knowledge-union laws. |
Weightage |
Specify the weight of the competency element. For the specified exercise, the weight of the competency element refers to the priority a competency element has, in comparison to other competency elements that can be assessed by conducting this exercise. Example: For group discussion exercise, assessment of communication skills is more important than leadership quality. |
Weightage (In %) |
The competency element weight is displayed in percentage. Example: if the competency element weight for presentation skill is 5/10, the competency element weight in % is 50. |
Comments |
Any comments pertaining to the exercise. |
You can also specify the competency element code through Help.
Select the “Save exercise information” pushbutton to save all the specifications assigned to the new exercise.
Select “View Exercise Information” link from the “Add Exercise Information” page.
