The “Request Change in Work Experience Information” page appears.
The system displays the following details.
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. More Details |
Employee |
The name of the employee and the unique employee code pertaining to it. |
Request Status |
Indicates the status of your request for changing the details of your contact information. The system displays the request status based on system parameters set. The system parameter may require the changes you make to be authorized only by your supervisor, authorized by the supervisor and confirmed by the HR user, confirmed by the HR user directly or may not require either the supervisor’s authorization or the HR user’s confirmation. The system displays the status when you save the changes made to the contact information details. If the system parameter requires the changes you make, to be authorized by the supervisor within the stipulated time, the system displays the request status as “Pending with Supervisor”, when you save the changes. If the supervisor gives the authorization within the stipulated time, the system displays the request status as “Current”/ “Authorized”. “Rejected by Supervisor” indicates that the supervisor has rejected the changes. If the supervisor has not yet given the authorization or rejection, the system displays the request status as “Pending with Supervisor”. If the system parameter requires the changes you make to be authorized by the supervisor and confirmed by the HR user, the supervisor’s authorization or rejection must be confirmed by the HR user. The HR user can confirm or reject the supervisor’s authorization of the changes, confirm the supervisor’s rejection of the changes, override the supervisor’s rejection and confirm the changes made. If the supervisor has not given the authorization or rejection within the stipulated time, the system displays the status as “Pending with HR”. If the changes receive the HR user’s confirmation, the system displays the request status as “Current”/ “Confirm”, to indicate that the changes have been approved. If the HR user rejects the changes, the system displays the request status as “Rejected by HR”. If the HR user has not given the confirmation or rejection, the system displays the request status as “Pending with HR”. If the system parameter requires the changes to be submitted to the HR user directly, the system displays the request status as “Pending with HR” , when you save the changes . If the HR user rejects the changes, the system displays the request status as “Rejected by HR”. “Current” indicates that the HR user has confirmed ans approved the changes.. “Pending with HR indicates that the HR user has not given the confirmation or rejection of the changes. If the system parameter does not require the changes to be authorized by the supervisor or confirmed by the HR user, the system displays the request status as “Current”, immediately on submit of the changes made, when you save the changes. |
Pending With |
The code and name of the employee with whom the change request of the employee is pending with. |
Requested On |
The date on which the employee submitted his/her request for changing the identification information details. |
Authorizer’s Remarks |
The remarks of the authorizer pertaining to the change request. |
You can edit the following work experience details in the “Organization Details” multiline. Note that by default the system displays the current values for these details.
Organization |
The description of the organization in which the employee worked previously. |
Record Status |
The status of the record. |
From |
The date from which the employee worked in the organization. |
To |
The date till which the employee worked in the organization. |
Organization Type |
The specific type of the organization, for example, Government, Private, Defense etc. |
Industry Type/Sector |
The industry type or sector to which the organization belongs, for example, Engineering, Chemical, Pharmaceutical et. |
Job |
The job held by the employee in the organization. |
Equivalent Job within the organization |
The job within the organization, which is equivalent to the job held by the employee in the earlier organization in which he/she worked. This field is help enabled. You can access the help page on job to fetch the code of the equivalent job within the organization. |
Department |
The name of the department to which the job held by the employee earlier belongs. |
Gross Annual Remuneration |
The total compensation drawn by the employee for a year, in the earlier organization. |
Currency |
The name of the currency in which the remuneration was paid. From the drop-down list box, select the name of the required currency. |
Reason for change |
The reason for which the employee opted to change from the earlier job. |
Relative Importance |
The relative importance of the corresponding work experience details in relation to the work experience the employee has in other organizations. For example, a work experience record with a relative importance value of 03 has more importance than one with a relative importance value of 07. |
Employee Remarks |
The remarks you want to enter pertaining to the changes made. |
Select the book icon beside the “Employee Remarks” field. The system displays a dialog box containing the remarks that were entered previously, if any.
You can view, modify or delete the content.
Select the “OK” pushbutton to save the details and return to the previous page.
Select the “Cancel” pushbutton to return to the previous page without saving the details entered.
Select the “Save Request” pushbutton at the bottom of the page.
Select the “Delete Request” pushbutton at the bottom of the page.
Use this page to make the necessary changes to your work experience details.
