4     Ensure that you are in the “Select Employee to view Employment” page.

4     Select  “View Secondary Assignment” at the bottom of the page.

4     The “View Secondary Assignment” page appears.

4     The system displays the following:

Date Format

The date format applicable to the login user. More Details.

Employment Unit

The organization unit as specified in the “Select Employee” page.

Employee

The employee code you specified in the “Select Employee” page.

Date of Joining

The date and time, in which the selected employee joined the organization, is displayed.

Assignment No

The secondary assignment number that has been allocated for an employee, in sequential order. The value in this field is system generated.

Assignment Type

The “Change in assignment” value is displayed by default. This indicates that the change in assignment has been made due to functional change or position change or any such change.

Assignment Effective From

The date and time from which the secondary assignment, has been activated.

Assignment Effective To

The date and time until which the secondary assignment will be in effect.

Reason for Change in Assignment

The reason for change in assignment is displayed. Example: change in function, change in position.

Position

The position code for the selected employee is displayed.

Employment Unit

The employment unit selected in the previous page. Tell me more.

Regulatory region          

The region governed by a common law.

Business Unit

The Business unit of the employee.

Work location

The work location where the organization is located.

Company

The company to which the employee belongs.

Hierarchy Short Description

A short description for the hierarchy.

Hierarchy Chain

The hierarchy code of the employee.

Department

The department to which the employee belongs.

Cost Center

The description of the cost center to which the function’s costs are currently assigned. This field is displayed based on the function code, you specify.

Viewing the “Job Profile” details

4      You can view the following job profile details

Job

The job code for the selected employee is displayed.

Job Description

The job type for the selected employee is displayed. Example: regular, part time.

Job family

The job family to which the selected employee belongs.

Grade set

The grade set code for the selected employee, is displayed. 

Job Classification

The job classification for the selected employee is displayed. Example: permanent, temporary, contract.

Workers Compensation code

The code pertaining to the workers compensation is displayed.

Standard Hours

The standard hours for which the employee is required to work.

Medical check Required

Displays whether a medical check is required for the selected employee

Tipped

Specifies whether the employee is tipped or not.

Job Level Description

The description of the job level to which the selected employee belongs.

EEO Class

The Equal Employment Opportunity classification, which is captured as part of Job Information.

Grade

The grade code for the selected employee is displayed.

Working Condition

The working condition of the employee’s work place.

Salaried/hourly

Specifies whether the employee is paid on a salary basis or hourly basis

Work Experience

The work experience pertaining to the employee

Medical check requirements

The medical check requirements pertaining to the employee.

Mobile

The mobile number of the employee.

FTE

Full Time Equivalent of the job (If the regular working hours are 8 hrs/day, and if two employees are employed part-time for 4 hours and 6 hours respectively, then their FTE would be 0.5 and 0.75 respectively).

Full time/part time

Specifies whether the selected employee is working on a full time or part time basis.

Regular/Temporary

Specifies whether the selected employee is hired on a regular or temporary basis.

Position Level

The description of the position level in the hierarchy of an organization.

Category

The category code for the selected employee is displayed.

Grade

The grade code for the selected employee is displayed.

Role

The role code for the selected employee is displayed.

Job

The job code for the selected employee is displayed.

Job Type

The job type for the selected employee is displayed. Example: regular, part time.

Job Classification

The job classification for the selected employee is displayed. Example: permanent, temporary, contract.

FLSA

The status of FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938), is displayed. Example: exempt, non-exempt.

Hierarchy Point

The point at which the employee is, in the hierarchy of an organization, is displayed.

Supervisor

The employee code of the supervisor of the selected employee. 

Assignment No

The assignment number of the supervisor.

Function                           

The function description of the supervisor.

Position            

The position description of the supervisor.

Department

The department to which the supervisor belongs.

4      You can view the following benefit-related information.

Union Affiliation

The union to which the employee belongs, in the organization.

Group

The group of the union to which the employee belongs.

Description

The description of the union given by the user.
