Selecting an employee
4 Select “View Employment Information” from the left pane.

To select through Search Criteria
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the employee code or nothing at all. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you can enter one or more characters that the employee code contains. Optionally, you can enter the employee name, employee type, assignment no, position title, job title, department description and employee’s reward status to narrow your search. Search based on wild card characters is also supported.
4 Enter the following search criteria values in some or all of the following fields.
Employee Code |
The unique code of the employee. |
Employee Name |
To view all the employee names containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these employee names characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: To get Jonathan, type in JO*, to search for those employee names that start with JO. Other examples are *NATHAN, JO*AN, and JONATH*. |
Assignment No |
The assignment number of the employee. |
Employee Type |
Select the type of employee, whether regular, trainee or contractual from the drop-down list box. Note that you can view the primary assignment records of all employees irrespective of their employee types i.e., regular or contract etc. |
Position Title |
The position title of the employee. |
Job Title |
The job title of the employee. |
Employee’s Reward Status |
Select the status of the employee’s reward from the drop-down list box. |
4 Select the “Search” pushbutton.
Note: To perform an effective
search, enter maximum number of fields in the search criteria.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch
the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select
the
“Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are available
for the selected employee code setup unit.
4 The system displays the results of search in the following multiline.

The name of the employee. |
Assignment No |
The assignment number of the employee. |
Employee Type |
The type of the employee. |
Position Title |
The position title of the employee. |
Job Title |
The job title of the employee. |
Employee’s Reward Status |
The status of the employee’s reward. |
